OVERVIEW OF THE EU ACQUIS MULTILANGUAGE CROSS - SECTOR PLATFORM (EUMCSP)

EUMCSP is a new on-line multilanguage and cross sector platform relating to the European so called "Acquis Communautaire" and to its national transposition legislation in the field of economic services of general interest and in the private sector (focused on Small and Medium Sized Enterprises).

 

The "EUMCSP" allows users from different EU countries, particularly the new acceding countries, to access and being informed on the basic body of European legislation and technical standards, to learn from existing European practices and to support decisions making in achieving quality performance and sustainable business service models in the Internal Market.

EUMCSP is focused on the following main areas of interest:

• Internal Market policy
• Freedom to provide services with transparency of regulation and standards
• Mutual recognition of qualifications
• Quality of services and consumers protection
• Health and safety
• Environment legislation.
